The sunroof changes your experience
Switch between open-air cruising and shelter in seconds
The new sunroof keeps the spacious feel on deck, with open access to the aft. It’s built into the frame and features a motorised soft top, a proven system similar to the one on our Coupe models. It gives you full control over ventilation and sun protection — open it up to catch the breeze, close it down to shelter from the sun, or anywhere in between.
Switch modes with the push of a button
Press a button to close the roof and enjoy shelter. Open it and you're back to a classic weekend cruiser in seconds, with excellent wind protection in the cockpit either way.
See everything, feel everything
Large side windows and an open back give the cabin 360-degree visibility. Even with the roof shut, you maintain the view and connection to the water.
Designed for when the sun goes down
Watch the sunset while the large side panels keep the evening breeze out. Spotlights set into the roof carry the evening once the sun's gone.
Full protection when you want it
An aft canopy extends coverage across the whole cockpit and deploys faster than a full canopy. Large windows keep the view open. The lowered cockpit floor creates a sense of space when the canopy is up. Add a heater and you've extended your season.

Space for ten people
The cockpit sofa runs the full 2.92-metre beam. Ergonomically shaped seats let you stretch journeys longer and your marina hangouts later. The pantry sits where you can cook and stay part of the conversation around the table.

Space to unwind
Three sun areas
You always have somewhere to unwind aboard the Comtesse 830. The bow sunbed fits two, with an adjustable backrest that doubles as a ventilation hatch for the cabin below. The cockpit converts into a large sunbed by lowering the cockpit table and both swim platforms have cushioned loungers as additional equipment.
Find a secluded bay, turn the music down low, and let the day unfold.
Stay the night
Three sleeping areas and a separate toilet room
Extend your stay with sleeping space for up to six people. The main bed in the sleeping cabin gives you room to stretch out with an optional Tempur mattress topper for extra comfort. The quarterberth runs 2 metres deep and 1.4 metres wide beneath the cockpit floor with a small window that lets light in. The cockpit sunbed comfortably sleeps one adult or two children.
Wake up, jump straight into a swim and finish with a hot shower on the swim platform.
The driving experience
Nordkapp’s most tested and proven hull
The Comtesse 830 feels like a fine-tuned SUV at sea, smooth and composed with Nordkapp's athletic edge. Planing is seamless, and the slightly downward-tilted bow sundeck keeps clear views ahead. Underneath is the same hull as the Coupe 830, Enduro 830 and Noblesse 830, a platform proven over years in every condition you're likely to meet.
With a 2.92 metre beam, the Comtesse 830 is fairly wide for an 8.3 metre boat. But that does not impact your driving joy. Thanks to the well-shaped hull, the boat feels like a narrower, sharper-hulled boat without losing the natural stability that comes with the standout beam.
Espen Thorup does a good job designing hulls that work with the water. The 830 hull breaks through at the right point and moves naturally with the waves. The sharp hull angle provides flexibility to change your angle of approach by using the engine trim. In rougher conditions, trimming in enables you to meet the waves further to the bow, letting it cut through waves more effectively. In calmer conditions, you may trim further out and the will bow ride smoothly above the water while the boat glides on its lifting strakes. The Nordkapp hull philosophy, providing air between the water surface and hull at speed, without steps, give you a predictable and smooth yet athletic drive.
The Comtesse 830 performs just as well with ten people aboard as it does with one. It balances width and stability with agility and wave-cutting ability.
Conversations flow easily inside the cockpit
The solid construction and insulated interior components reduce vibration transfer, making the cockpit more quiet. Inside the cockpit, you’ll notice wind protection from the low deck and high freeboards around the windscreen. Paired with Mercury’s quiet-running engines, your conversations do not have to compete with the ride.
