A new chapter for Nordkapp Boats
Frydenbø Marine, the company behind Nordkapp Boats, has appointed Calle Olsson as its new CEO, effective 1 September 2026.
Calle brings 25 years of experience in the boating industry and knows the Nordkapp brand well — this matters for Nordkapp customers, as the person leading the company has worked with the brand and boats long enough to know what makes them worth owning — He led Nordic Marine for many years before taking key roles in Frydenbø Marine after the 2012 acquisition of Fische Marine. Recently, he served as Country Manager for Norway, Sweden and Denmark at Mercury Marine.
"For me, having previously worked with the Nordkapp brand, it is particularly motivating to once again work with these products — I know the position they hold in the market," says Calle.
Calle Olsson steps in as the new CEO of Frydenbø Marine with a clear vision for Nordkapp's future.
The appointment comes with a clear direction. Frydenbø Marine's chairman, Åsmund Bjørndal Heen, says Calle is well-suited to lead the company into its next phase, with significant international potential on the horizon.
The new CEO wants to make Nordkapp ownership easier for enthusiasts both inside and outside Scandinavia.
“I look forward to realising the international potential together with the team,” says Calle.
He replaces Trond Underhaug, who led Frydenbø Marine through an important development period for the company and its brands. Everyone at Nordkapp thanks Trond for his dedication and the mark he left on the business. He now leads Fjord Defence Marine, a well-deserved next chapter.
We look forward to what comes next.
