Best of Boats award winner 2025

The Nordkapp Enduro 830 has won Best of Boats 2025 in the Best for Fun category. The jury highlighted its high fun factor, versatility, Scandinavian design and seagoing capabilities.

"You can drive the Enduro 830 at high speed in bad sea conditions. I think that's why we won Best for Fun. It was raining, with winds of around 18 m/s when the journalists tested the boat. Every single one returned to the dock with a smile, surprised by how hard they could push it in those conditions.

"The Enduro 830 handles incredibly well and remains very forgiving. Many boats lose grip in tight, fast corners, but this one holds its line from entry to exit. It's the type of boat you feel confident in, even at the limit.

"The Enduro 830 would also fit categories like Best for beginners, Best for families and Best for adventure. It meets many different needs at sea. But with how much enjoyment people seemed to have while driving, the jury made the right choice.

"This may be the best boat we have made to date, in our best series," he says, referring to the 830 range, which includes the centre console Enduro 830, the daycruiser Noblesse 830, and the wheelhouse Coupe 830.

"One thing that stands out to me is that people keep telling me we earned this award. Hearing that from others carries real weight. You care about the products you build, but when others share that feeling, it speaks even louder."

Espen stresses that the recognition belongs to the entire Nordkapp team. "It has been a team effort. I am very proud of the team at Nordkapp and Frydenbø, and I have personally thanked the factory team for their excellent work."

"It has been a fantastic achievement and a real team effort," says head of marketing, Mats Hjørnevik. "It means a great deal to us and reflects our ongoing work to improve and develop our boats."

The Best for Fun category had five nominees, with the Enduro 830 competing against De Antonio 29, Wellcraft 38 T-Top, Sea Ray SDX 270 and Four Winns H9.
